In this mineral and rough environment, the vegetation is very slowly colonizing the wide lava flows of 1730-1736 eruption. In the background the Montaña Rajada - the largest volcano - is easy to recognize with its red cone; Timanfaya National Park (Lanzarote, Canary Islands).
