It was impossible to walk inside the flooded tunnels, so we swam in the water that was very cold. Stopped by landslides, we have only explored two galleries each 20 m in length. It was nevertheless enough to understand that these tunnels were not a part of an underground refuge but rather a portion of an ancient aqueduct; region of Tours (France), June 1986.
